Will the market price of Jarrah continue to rise?
There is every reason to expect that the price of Jarrah will continue to rise. This has been acknowledged by governments, industry experts and manufacturers. It's been established that Jarrah timber naturally appreciates in price over its maturation. With the additional restrictions now placed on supply by the Forest Products Commission, and with ongoing growth in demand, it is likely that the market price for processed Jarrah will continue to increase in the long term.

Can Jarrah Select guarantee the return on investment?
Very few investments can be guaranteed. For instance, superannuation funds can yield negative returns year on year. Under the terms of our supply agreement, clients are guaranteed not to experience negative returns. Jarrah Select maintains that a reasonable and competitive return should be expected. This is coupled with the security of the "buyback warranty".

Does Jarrah Select guarantee the quality of the product?
Yes, Jarrah Select will only purchase premium "select grade" timber on behalf of the client. Rigorous quality controls during milling, transport, storage and drying ensure that material timber will be of the highest standard. Moreover, consistency of supply is guaranteed at all times. Manufacturers will recognize the superiority of the Jarrah Select process ensuring a secure market for the Jarrah timber upon maturation.

Is the investment environmentally responsible?
Yes, All timber purchased by Jarrah Select is sourced from sustainable managed forests. The milling techniques are conducted in accordance with the Forest Management Plan approved by the Forest Products Commission of Western Australia. The Commission's activities are certified as meeting the international Standard ISO 14001 Environmental Management System - They are world's best practice.

Why should I invest in Jarrah?
This type of investment has broad appeal in that it's affordable, simple and secure. Whether you're a self-funded retiree, a first time investor or independently wealthy and looking for diversity in your portfolio, Jarrah can meet your investment expectations. As with all the investments, we encourage you to consult an independent financial specialist for advice.

What are the payment terms?
Jarrah Select requires that clients pay for the purchase, management and storage of the timber at the commencement of the contract. Terms and conditions are available elsewhere in this document.

Can I inspect the Jarrah timber?
Of course. The timber remains the property of the client. It is stored at all times in an accessible but secure facility. Each pack is individually numbered and labeled, including a full pack contents description and moisture chart. Clients are encouraged to inspect the storage facility should they desire. We would ask that you please phone ahead for an appointment.
