In turn, the mill has long term contracts in place for the provision of Jarrah that guarantees supply well into the future. This contract has been endorsed by the Forest Products Commission. Most of the green Jarrah logs come from mining industry land clearing operations. Harvesting and regeneration is carried out by contractors employed by the Forest Products Commission. The high-grade timber being produced by Phoenix is a result of extremely efficient milling processes. These processes are acknowledged as industry best practice and are consistent with Western Australian Government policy aimed at adding value to native forest log timber. Clients can be assured that the timber they purchase for investment is of premium grade and sourced through environmentally responsible practices.
